Lake Lawn Resort will celebrate the autumn season with package specials and seasonal festivities during their Fall Family Festival, Oct. 11-13. Package prices start at $439 for three nights, $369 for two nights and $229 for a one-night stay on Sunday. The weekend will include ongoing activities, live entertainment, and a lakeside cookout on Sunday with a performance by “Those Funny Little People,” as seen on the 2011 season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

This year’s celebration will feature loads of new festivities for families to enjoy. “The Fall Family Festival is one of our favorite traditions at Lake Lawn,” said Lake Lawn Resort General Manager Dave Sekeres. “This year, we’re offering even more outdoor activities so families can take full advantage of the autumn season and experience all the beauty it brings to our grounds.”

Package guests will score activity passes good for scarecrow building, a scarecrow dress-and-dash, family Minute to Win It, pumpkin bowling, gourd roll games, bonfire storytelling, nature walks, football pick-up games and much more. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a bounce house set up. For guests not staying at the resort or are not on Festival room package, tickets will be available for purchase for caramel apple decorating, pumpkin painting stations and bounce house.

A singing and dancing act by Those Funny Little People will kick off at Noon until 12:20 PM on Sunday, followed by a lakeside cookout from 12:30 PM until 3 PM. The animated group will mingle during the cookout from 12:30 PM until 12:50 PM while attendees enjoy a belly-warming buffet featuring chili, brats, burgers, pumpkin bars, cider and more. Area residents and visitors are also encouraged to attend the Sunday cookout. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 4-12, and free for children three and under.
